• In the case of lead-acid batteries it is important that, if discharges are light, the absorption time is short to avoid overcharging the battery. After a deep discharge, the absorption charging time is automatically increased to ensure a full recharge of the battery.
• In the case of lithium batteries, the absorption time is fixed: 2 hours by default.
• Alternatively, a fixed output voltage can be chosen.

Suitable for use in vehicles with a smart alternator (Euro 5 and Euro 6 engines)

The integrated engine shutdown detection will stop the Victron Orion-Tr Smart 12/24-10A DC-DC Isolated DC-DC Converter – ORI12242424120 when the engine is not running. This prevents the starter battery from discharging.
