The Huawei Luna2000 14-S1 14kWh Lithium Battery – LUNA2000-14-S1 is a high voltage battery compatible with the Huawei KTL single phase L1 and LC0 hybrid inverter range and the KTL three phase M1 and MB0. Each battery consists of a Huawei Luna2000-10kW-C1 Power Module BMS – 01076596 on top and up to three Huawei Luna2000 7-E1 Lithium Battery Modules. The Huawei Luna Battery has an IP66 protection rating, 15 year manufacturer’s warranty and is easily scalable, allowing the system to be expanded to a maximum of 82.8kWh of total storage capacity.

The Module+ Architecture enables the Huawei Luna2000 7-S1 lithium battery to adopt the built-in power optimiser, improving over 40% of power performance* and extending the warranty up to 15 years.

Module-level optimisation ensures simple plug-and-play capacity expansion. Each new battery is always ready for use without the need for pre-charging or SOC calibration.

Unrivalled performance and silence

A separate Temperature Control System ensures that the cells and energy optimisers operate reliably in both hot and cold environments, protecting against excessive heat and eliminating the need for a noisy fan. Quiet operation at 29 dB makes them one of the quietest batteries on the market.

Independent module-level management enables fast charging and discharging at 3.5 kW for each battery module and a maximum input and output power of 10.5 kW for each energy storage system. The upgrade over the previous Luna2000 ranges from performance to efficiency.

5 Levels of protection

• Protection at cell level: Premium LFP cells have passed a succession of rigorous tests, such as 1/8 life cycle tests, perforation tests and more. LUNA S1 offers you the superior and reliable warranty.
• Electrical protection: Three levels, from intelligent overcurrent protection to string and module level short-circuit protection. Prevents external short-circuit and overcurrent hazards comprehensively for complete safety.
• Structural protection: Enhanced IP66-rated water protection allows the battery to remain safe in water depths of up to 40cm for up to 72 hours, dominating with unrivalled safety on days of flooding, rain or snow melt. In addition, the heavy-duty structure withstands up to 5 tons of pressure, strong enough to withstand even an unexpected crushing or external impact in a garage.
• Active protection: Real-time temperature monitoring with 4 sensors for every 8 cells ensures increased accuracy for stable operations and ensures active protection through instant battery data analysis and pre-alarms 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
